From the Maker
Lindy's Leather started out with wanting to learn how to make a military biography when my husband got out of the Army. It took a ton of practice on smaller projects to work my way up to it. I fell in love with the craft.
I still enjoy tooling, but my wrists don't allow me to do that full time, so I reserve that for a few special pieces. After a few years of my craft evolving, I found myself doing the Renaissance Festival in Virginia and found a truly amazing community of artists and playactors.
I moved to Tennessee in 2021 and got my shop back up and running with much more space to grow. I've been doing the Tennessee Renaissance Faire since 2022. I love to pick up a piece of leather and see what it inspires me to make.
Outside the shop, I'm a mother to 4 beautiful girls who love to make things just as much as I do. I have a love for gardening, animals, and baking — and somehow my husband has tolerated and supported my shenanigans for over 20 years!
